UI/UX Design

Design that survives contact with engineering, because the people designing it are the people building it. No beautiful mockup that turns out to be impossible in the sprint after handoff — there is no handoff.

What's included

Design systems

Reusable tokens and components so the tenth screen still looks like the first, and future work doesn't drift away from the brand.

Rapid prototyping

Clickable prototypes early, so you're reacting to something real instead of approving a static picture and hoping.

Usability testing

We put the prototype in front of people and watch where they hesitate, then fix it before it's expensive to fix.

Designed for the build

Because we implement our own designs, what you approve is what ships — down to the motion and the empty states.

UI/UX Design questions

Do you do design-only projects?

We can, though our strength is design and engineering together — the design holds up better when the people drawing it are the ones who have to build it. Ask us on the discovery call and we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit.

What do I get at the end of the design phase?

Wireframes, a clickable prototype, and a design system — components, type, colour and spacing — that the build then follows.

How long does design take?

Planning and design is typically 2–4 weeks, after a 1–2 week discovery phase. Complex products with many flows take longer.
